Out of the classroom, into the church
Prayer Meetings
Want to meet? Join us for one of our prayer meetings around SE Tennessee and NW Georgia. The four groups meet Monday through Thursday, 8-9am. Contact Sean at 904-649-8425 for more information. The meetings are specifically for pastors and leaders, although all are welcome.
Outreach
Every student will choose one of three tracks: pastoral ministry, youth ministry, or missions. Our heart is for students to practice these forms of ministry in or alongside local churches. Since Pentecost, local churches have been God’s plan for redeeming communities. Logos is an incubator, but it could never replace the church. We want to operate in a support role in all that we do.
Contact us at 904-649-8425 if…
you are a pastor who would be interested in having our students volunteer with your youth ministry on a consistent basis for nine months. They could teach a lesson, organize games, or lead a small group depending on your set-up.
you are a pastor with a heart for mentorship. I envision students helping with sermon prep by collecting and organizing resources and verses pertaining to a given topic. You would then meet with two of students each week, hear their proposal for a sermon outline, and use as much as you’d like.
you are interested in local evangelism and forming friendships with people who grew up in a non-Christian (or even non-American) context. Our students can go sharing in public spaces alongside your church members, teach a seminar on personal evangelism, lead prayer meetings for the unreached, or occasionally organize day trips to international communities in the Atlanta metro area.
Looking for a Teacher?
For the time being, Sean is available to teach in the evening or on weekends. Options include:
An 8-week course, two hours per week. Choose a topic and a day of the week, and I will teach it just as I would at Logos. Typical class times are 6:30-8:30.
Weekend intensives. Call your students and young adults together for a weekend in the Word. Between 6pm on Friday and 9pm on Saturday, we can have six to eight hours of teaching as well as games, service projects, or free time in between.
Stand-alone lessons. Sean is more than happy to join your youth group or college group on a one-time or ongoing basis. Reach out and we’ll talk through the details (904-649-8425).

Interested in Teaching?
In the course of nine months, Logos students will have 30 weeks of teaching. That is way too long to listen to just two guys! Guest lecturers provide variety and different perspectives for our students to consider. If you feel up to teaching 15 hours in a week, let’s talk and see if it would be a good fit.
