Welcome to the adventure of abundant life

Meeting the Creator in His Creation

Is it possible to live in Chattanooga and not have some epic outdoor adventures? I don’t think so. It has frequently been called the best place for adventure sports in the southeast. Logos is located just minutes from world-class rock-climbing, white-water rafting, gentle lakes for kayaking, Smokey Mountain backpacking, and top-tier mountain biking. We have nine daytrips planned for you as long as two longer expeditions: hiking the Art Loeb trail and floating the Rio Grande in Big Bend NP. Of course, all trips are optional…but only if you can stand the FOMO.

Prayer Garden

You don’t have to leave campus to find nature. Logos is surrounded by quiet forests and hosts a three-acre prayer garden. This is a place to slow down and get alone with Jesus. Bring a hammock and a friend or take a walk after dinner. In a world that has become far too digital, we remember how to be fully present in the beauty of creation. We join with a world that sings the praises of its Maker. We were for morning walks in Eden with our Creator; not for the high-stress, digitally saturated lives we’ve drifted into. It is no wonder that anxiety, depression, and digital addiction have found a home in our modern societies. But here, those lies begin to grow quiet. Here we let them go, and rest in His presence.

Real Brotherhood and Sisterhood

Logos is a place to belong. A place to find that rare kind of Christ-centered community you’ve been searching for. Where bonfires and coffee mugs set the table for being truly known and loved. Where we compete and explore and laugh and sing together. Many of our students come for the teaching but stay for the friends.

We build community through small group time, teaching cohorts, and dorm nights. But we also recognize that you can’t schedule friendship. It grows in the spaces between. Through late night chats with your roommate, bike rides into town, games, and movie nights under the stars. And it blossoms in spontaneous worship sessions, confession and accountability, doing ministry side-by-side, and continuing to pray for each other long after the school year is over.

Intramurals

Any time we’re not in class, we love to be outside. It’s never long before someone breaks out a frisbee or spikeball net. But we set aside Sunday afternoons for sports because play is a critical part of Sabbath rest. It’s has nothing to do with skill or score, but being together, sweating together and often times laughing together. Throughout the year we will cycle through soccer, volleyball, frisbee and kickball, so be sure to pack a pair of athletic shoes.

About Chattanooga

Nestled between mountains and the Tennessee River, Chattanooga is built for adventure. You can spend your morning hiking or trail running on Lookout Mountain, climb world-class routes, or paddle through the Tennessee River Gorge—all before grabbing coffee downtown. Within minutes, you’re surrounded by waterfalls, caves, and endless trails, yet the city still delivers a vibrant food scene, live music, and a creative, laid-back culture. It’s the kind of place where weekends turn into stories, and everyday life feels like a story waiting to be written.
